Smart Crane Anti-Collision System NOCOL

 

NOCOL, which measures the distance using a laser, can be easily installed on the crane to secure high-resolution 3D information about the crane and its surroundings. NOCOL uses 3D information to calculate the distance from dangerous objects around the crane in real time and warns the crane driver of the dangerous situation. Field supervisors can check the work environment in 3D information, and always store work status in real time with a 3D black box function. It is the world's first 3D LIDAR Crane Anti-Collision System that can check the distance between colliding objects in cm resolution and is easy to install/uninstall. 

What is the LIDAR sensor?

 

Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR), also known as LIDAR (Laser Detection and Ranging), Time of Flight (ToF), laser scanners, and laser radars, is a sensing method that detects objects and maps distances. What is Panorama LIDAR used in NOCOL

Panorama LIDAR is a state-of-the-art sensor that complements the narrow vertical viewing angle of a commercialized 3D lidar and can sense a large area with a single 3D LIDAR. FM's Pnorama LIDAR The sensor PALA720 is installed on a crane and can obtain 3D distance information such as cranes, surrounding structures, and lifting objects.

Is Crane Anti-Collision System Necessary?

2. While the tower crane is installed and dismantled, record the entire work process as a video and store it during the rental period.
